Opening Eyes to Mathematics: Teaching Reference Manual

Opening Eyes lessons strengthen basic number sense while developing students' proficiency with numeration, fractions, measurement, geometry, probability, statistics, and data analysis. The Teacher Reference Manual describes the philosophy of teaching and learning that guides the program. Chapters discuss math content, instructional goals, and pedagogy. This volume also includes Calendar Extravaganza—20 to 30 minute lessons that explore math concepts.
